Description

Mercedes-Benz and McLaren crowned the model family of their successful SLR super sports cars with a new, spectacular and uncompromising special model. In the summer of 2009, the last edition of the SLR "Stirling Moss" came onto the market - without a roof or windshield, but with plenty of power and exclusivity. Only 75 copies were built. The tuned version of the SLR with 650 hp is considered the most extreme and rarest model in the series. Stirling Moss took over the 5.5-liter supercharged V8 from the SLR 722, and the top speed is 354 km/h.

In technical terms, the SLR Stirling Moss has inherited the best genes of the SLR family. The carbon-fibre body, the newly developed monocoque, the feather-light kerb weight of 1,551 kg and the outstanding aerodynamics and safety ensure unbridled driving pleasure on a drive in the SLR Stirling Moss. As a reminiscence of the SLR racing cars that founded the legend of the Silver Arrows and as a tribute to Sir Stirling Moss.

Just as purist as the exterior appearance is the styling of the interior, which is reduced to the essentials. The high-quality materials used for the interior emphasise the unique character of the SLR Stirling Moss. Below the gear knob, the signature of the namesake engraved in aluminium is a further reference to the man who made this vehicle a classic.
