Description
The McLaren F1 GTR Longtail from 1997 was the evolution of the Le Mans-winning F1 GTR. Almost two decades later, McLaren repeated the process, with the limited production 675LT emerging as a further development of the 650S. It embodies the uncompromising ambition to create an instinctive driving experience of unrivalled intensity. More power, less weight, more precision – every last detail has been attended to.
The 675LT has a carbon fibre body that reduces downforce by 40 percent. The performance data are spectacular: the new M838TL twin-turbo V8 engine has 675 hp and a torque of 700 Nm. The 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox responds twice as quickly. The weight has been reduced by 100 kg compared to the 650S. The revolutionary specification includes ultra-light forged alloy wheels, Pirelli P-ZERO™ Trofeo R tyres, carbon-ceramic brakes and an optimised suspension system that makes use of the technology of the McLaren P1™.
