Description

In 2010, Ferrari launched the 599 GTO, a special series limited to 599 vehicles. The GTO has an engine tuned to 670 hp, which takes it to 335 km/h. Many of the 599 GTO's technical solutions were inspired by experience gained by the technicians at Maranello during the development of the 599XX. The heavily perforated body of the 599 GTO gives a particularly striking appearance. Gran Turismo Omologata (GTO) meaning ‘homologated (i.e. recognized for competition) grand-touring’ is a vehicle categorisation that has played an important role in automotive history.
