The 355 F1 was the first road car to feature the innovative F1 gearbox management system, available in all three versions of the model: Berlinetta, GTS, and Spider. It revolutionized the shifting experience, making gear changes via paddle shifters behind the steering wheel the new standard. The high-revving 3.5-litre V8 engine of the 355 F1 was renowned for its impressive performance and distinctive Ferrari sound. The Ferrari F355 made its world premiere in March 1994 at the Geneva Motor Show. As the successor to the Ferrari 348, it remained in production until 1999, when it was succeeded by the Ferrari 360 Modena.
