Description
The 355 F1 Berlinetta was the first road car to be equipped with the innovative F1 transmission management system, which was made available in all three versions, namely the Berlinetta, the GTS and the Spider. The Ferrari F355 was first unveiled in 1994 as the successor to the Ferrari 348 and remained in production until 1999.
The F355 was a new car in many respects. Its numerous innovations took the brand into the modern era. Brakes, clutch, chassis and engine were considered to be in perfect balance, and the interior was nicely proportioned for tall drivers.
The high driving performance and a balanced performance level made the mid-engine two-seater an attractive sports car. As a result, sales figures increased with the F355, as the "small" Ferrari was now of similar quality to the large twelve-cylinder models.
The restoration was carried out by the Zanasi Group in Maranello, which has been certified as an official Ferrari workshop for 50 years. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology and traditional craftsmanship, the restoration was carried out in accordance with original standards: the bodywork, paintwork, technology and equipment were revised with the utmost attention to detail, using rare spare parts and original templates. This resulted in a restoration of the highest collector's standard, preserving both the aesthetic integrity and technical substance of the vehicle and significantly enhancing its value.
