Porsche 911 S/T – Purism in a nutshell
To mark the 60th anniversary of the 911 series, Porsche launched a special edition limited to 1,963 units, which is consistently reduced to the essence of driving dynamics: the 911 S/T.
The S/T is powered by a 4.0-litre six-cylinder boxer engine derived from the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, delivering 525 hp. Power is transmitted via a close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox. It sprints to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, with high-revving, immediate power delivery.
With a DIN kerb weight of just 1,380 kilograms, the 911 S/T is the lightest derivative of the 992 generation. This is made possible by comprehensive lightweight construction: components made of CFRP (carbon fibre reinforced plastic), magnesium rims and lightweight glass significantly reduce the rotating and unsprung masses. The deliberate omission of rear-axle steering sharpens the feedback on the front axle and ensures particularly linear, analogue handling. The design is clearly road-oriented – maximum precision without a focus on the racetrack.
The optional Heritage Design Package references the historic DNA of the 911, including exclusive colour and interior combinations and classic crests.
In addition, Porsche Design released the strictly limited Chronograph 1 – 911 S/T, also limited to 1,963 pieces. The titanium case and the in-house manufacture calibre precisely reflect the technical philosophy of the vehicle.
In grey, the 911 S/T does not appear loud, but rather focused – a driver's car in its purest form.
