Porsche Cayman GT4

Description

The Porsche Cayman GT4 combines a mid-engine with racing attitude for uncompromising driving pleasure. The large-volume 3.8-litre engine comes from the 911 Carrera S. The six-cylinder engine has been tuned with a naturally aspirated system suitable for the Cayman. 283 kW (385 hp) and 420 Newton metres meet 1,345 kg in the fully fuelled GT4.

Porsche Active Suspension Management, larger composite brakes with steel rotor and aluminium hub as well as adjustable anti-roll bars are fitted exclusively here. The rear axle is also new due to the mid-engine configuration. The steering set-up is also - unlike in the series - more strongly geared towards motorsport driving. With the GT4, a car has been created that is capable of keeping up with all the development steps of its driver and still offers upward potential.

The sideblades ensure that the air reaches the engine's intake tract at a higher inflow speed. The large rear wing serves to achieve an aerodynamic balance between drag coefficient and downforce. At high speeds, you can feel how firmly the car sits on the road and how stable it reacts.
